250sx no spark stator?

hey guys i could really use some help, I just picked up an 85 250sx with no spark. I checked the kill switch, coil,pulse coil,stator/exitor coil, and they all came back within range for resistance. Also sanded the ground wire on the frame and checked the wires in between for continuity and breaks and everything seems to look good, so i thought it was the cdi.It came in the mail today, and I'm sure you can figure out by my desperate plea it wasn't that either. I'm not really sure where to go now, someone told me that if the neutral switch was bad then it wouldn't spark but not sure about that.Also does anyone know if i can test the voltage coming out of stator and out of cdi just to make sure there good, i tried but i'm not getting anything, thanks

You are sure the kill switch is functioning properly?

Just asking because that seems like the most simple thing in the chain to mess with.

ya dom the kill switch is definately working but i forgot to tell you that the key switch/coucil was removed because the guy said the key switch broke so he put in a toggle but he had it like that for a year.

You go through the troubleshooting ignition section in the manual?

ya thats where i got the resistance numbers and which wires to check

i was thinking that the proper resistance reading and continuity could possibly be throwing me off. did you ever hear of a stator reading properly and still being bad? Thats the way i'm leaning but I dont want to just throw money at it without a clue

I hear you about not wanting to throw money in the wind and hope.

Honestly, I don't have any experience with the electric system on these units other than regular maintenance items.
